The base pro is pretty amazing: can slip in anything that has a hook, and has a room for a pencil and a marker. The curvature of the base pro is pretty large, so with my 32in waist, it fits on the back better than on the side. The base mini, on the other hand, fits well on the side.
This is my second purchase. I absolutely love this product. It's one of those products that is so simple yet so valuable and I wear it all day. I now no longer wander around my shop looking for my tape measure and pencils. They're right on my hip and always available. Its made productivity so much better and for $12 that's some serious bang for my buck.
I love my swatclip. I use it every single day doing my installs. Would highly recommend if you use your tape measure frequently throughout day and marker/pencil. It also holds 1/4 ratchet where the sharpie goes so that’s a big plus if you use small socket drivers.
Easy to use and very convenient.
The concept of this is great and I can definitely see how this could be beneficial. However the quality of the clip is pretty bad. I bought 2, the base pro and the drill holder. One for myself and one as a gift for my in-law who is also a carpenter. My in-law said his broke after a few times of use right at the corner. Mine doesn't even fit on my belt around my bags (I have occidental bags). Needs some more r and d before it becomes a great product. For now I'd save your money.

I came across these products from watching a video on DIY Pete's YouTube page. I purchased the Tool Belt Pro and it's the kind of product, that now that I'm using it, couldn't imagine working without it. The concept is so simple yet so useful. Of all the tools and machines in our Wood Shop this is the we use everyday. It worked so great for me that I bought one for each of my workers and everyone wears them every day and magically just like that, we stopped losing tape measure and pencils. Who knew. All of the above plus it's an American company makes this a must have in any wood shop
When I’m not wearing my toolbelt, I can just clip this on my belt and go. It’s the perfect accessory.
I wasn't sure how often I would use it but every time I have a project going I'm putting on my base pro and a tool clip. It's become a staple. It's just been an easy way to carry my tools without putting on a full tool belt or have my things lying around. Surprisingly convenient and comfortable to wear. I got their magnetic bit box to put on it with my last order.
